Announcement for Sunday, 23rd August 2026

• Today the morning mass was animated by Sunday School Children. Next Sunday, 30th Aug 2026 morning mass will be animated by the Parish Pastoral Council

• Today/tomorrow there will be a HINDI mass at 5pm.

• Novena in honour of Nativity of Our Lady: This year we have the 9-day novena in preparation for the feast of Nativity of Our Lady from next Sunday 30th August onwards. The liturgy for each day will be conducted by the communities. The evening mass on novena days will be at 7.00 pm. At 6.30 pm we will have Rosary conducted by Legion of Mary, followed by mass at 7.00 pm. On Sunday's the novena mass will be at 8.30 am. Parents please encourage your children to attend the novenas. Coupons will be given to children for each day of attendance and there will be gifts at the end of the novenas. Children, as well as adults can bring offerings on each day which will be sent to a girl's orphanage in Panvel. List of items has already been circulated in the WhatsApp group.

• Mount Mary Pilgrimage: On Monday September 14th there will be a special Mass for the senior citizens at Mount Mary. Senior Citizens of our parish who would like to attend the mass, please enlist your name in the parish office. Cost is Rs. 100/-. Bus will be arranged and snacks will be given after mass. Bus will leave Church premises at 8.30 am, Mass will be at 10.00 am, we should reach back by 2.00 pm. Last date for registration is Sunday 6th September.

• GSC Dance Fitness Group: GSC Dance Fitness Group invite you for ONAM MOOD! Onam Dance, Photoshoot, Games and Fun on Saturday 29th August at 8.00 pm in the ground floor of Church premises. Come dressed in Onam attire and join us for an evening filled with fun and fellowship.

• Prison Ministry Contribution. A box has been placed near the alter, where you may kindly drop your contribution/envelope. Envelopes are kept near the box at the altar.

• PARISH BULLETIN: We are Planning to bring out a New Parish Bulletin in the Month of September ‘2026 and the Chosen Theme is "My Story with Mary". We Invite Articles from Parishioners on their encounters with Mary. The Article must not be more than 500 words. Also any Community Activities can be put in the Bulletin with Photographs. Please send your Articles to gscparishbulletin@gmail.com those who are doing business from home can advertise in the parish bulletin for free of charge, Kindly send the matter to the Parish Bulletin Email ID by 30th of August 2026.

• Last Sunday Collection Amounted to Rs. 24,950. (Twenty-four thousand nine hundred fifty only.) Thank you for your generosity.
